A walk down Poličská Street past the gardening colonies takes us to the field near the former Langer Forest. The information panel here along the asphalt road describes the geological formation of the Svitavy area and presents information on the oldest settlement of the region. The panel also describes the creation of the road network in this location from medieval times up to the construction of the local railway from Svitavy to Polička in 1896.
